Hedge Fund Paralegal

Our client is a global hedge fund focused on the major asset classes in the world’s largest financial markets. The London legal team have become increasingly busy over recent months and are looking to hire a paralegal with previous experience working for a hedge fund, related financial institution or private practice law firm. You must have a proven track record in this area with at least 6 months working in a related department. Our client is looking for somebody who can hit the ground running with the review and negotiation of exchange and trading documentation; vendor agreements; and marketing materials. Company secretarial duties will include: preparation of agendas, minutes, board papers and resolutions for board meetings in respect of each UK company in the group (and you will also liaise with the Luxembourg Company Secretary in this regard). You must have solid compliance and regulatory experience and be familiar with KYC, AML and associated regulatory matters and documentation. This is a highly visible role with a well-known fund.
