Professional Support Lawyer - Insurance Reinsurance

Our client’s insurance & reinsurance practice is recognised internationally as an industry leader. Through offer a comprehensive range of dispute resolution, transactional and regulatory legal services to the insurance sector, including insurance and reinsurance companies; policyholders; captives and mutuals; brokers and other intermediaries; managing agencies and MGAs; TPAs and other service providers. The insurance and reinsurance work is high value, likely to be complex and multi-party, and often international in nature. The insurance reinsurance Knowledge Management team ensures that the firm is able to offer technical excellence with efficient delivery, so as to provide clients with valued quality legal advice globally. The KM team are looking for a part time Professional Support Lawyer to provide a dedicated KM function for the Insurance/Reinsurance practice. Duties include: preparing regular bulletins; collection & dissemination of Knowhow; maintenance of knowledge database; drafting and updating templates; intranet management; technical legal queries; training & development; marketing & business development. You must have at least 7 years PQE undertaking insurance/reinsurance work in private practice or in-house. Ideally, you will have previous experience working as a PSL, or the ability to demonstrate an active involvement in KM initiatives whilst a fee earner. This is an excellent opportunity to join a top City firm as a PSL on a part-time basis.
